The teenage cast of the movie were briefly sent back to a local high school to get a feel for life there-and apparently it worked, with one corridor labelled “freak hall” and another labelled “jock hall”. Only the principal knew that the cast were there, and they blended in so well that Anthony Micheal Hall wound up getting sent to the principal’s office for failing to find his class quickly enough. It really is a tough world in there.
