2. Script Trouble

The director and writer John Hughes had trouble with the script for his new movie. Eventually, Estevez and Judd began to hassle him about his new picture, when he revealed the script was “sitting in a drawer somewhere”. Eventually, Estevez and others read through this and other versions of the script, with Hughes drawing parts from all of them to create the finished product. He wanted to film this before Sixteen Candles, but The Breakfast Club was forced back into production to be made after this feature.
