Whether Liam Hemsworth is known for his casual approach to auditions is not known, but he certainly went all out to secure his role in the Hunger Games trilogy. He plays Gale, a stoic, charming loner, and one corner of the love triangle Katniss finds herself in when she meets Peta. Hemsworth allegedly told the production team that he would burn his house down if the role of Peta went to anybody else because, y’know, he’s a laid-back dude.
