Pixel Perfect was towards the end of the Golden age of Disney movies-2004-but it’s still worth a watch. A sentient hologram who plays in a band brings up complicated feelings for her creator-think Transcendence for the pre-high school crowd. It’s packed full of catchy songs and is actually one of the cleverer movies Disney have indulged in, asking questions about technology in between the well-choreographed dance numbers and flirtatious banter so tame it could be a house cat.
