10. Shaun of the Dead
Another spoof movie, Sean of the Dead nonetheless managing to pack in a few great scares and jumps as it mercilessly lampoons everything about the zombie genre. It’s grounded by two solid central performances from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (a regular onscreen duo), and some enlightened direction from Edgar Wright. Some musical sequences and a whole lot of zombie giblet-eating tie the whole thing off with a bow made from intestines.
