12 Horror Movies You Won’t Watch Alone
5. Dawn of the Dead
I know there’s a lot of debate over which is the finest of Romero’s zombie series (well, it’s really only between three of the five, but still), but this one will always remain my favourite. It’s the perfect mix of satire-the mindless zombies pawing at the doors of a shopping centre- with genuine scares, and it was one of the first times that zombies ever looked like they could do you some genuine harm. Great effects and a good sense of humour top it off into one of the finest movies featuring dead people ever. The remake, surprisingly, is also outstandingly good.
