12 Horror Movies You Won’t Watch Alone
9. Cabin in the Woods
This is a great movie for both horror maestros and those just looking into the genre- a pastiche of great clichés mixed in with real scares and enough innovation to make your head spin. Undoubtedly the best horror movie of the decade so far, it takes the dead teen genre and drops it on it’s head, courtesy of Joss Whedon who had a hand in it’s creation. It flurries along at an incredible pace, packing in scares, surprises and twists (and the odd, ahem, cameo from Sigourney Weaver) until the very last second. Unbeatable stuff.
