7. What to Expect when You’re Expecting
I guess no-one really considered the fact that making a fiction film from a factual book might confuse audiences with it’s dissonance-but no matter. The film is actually rather good, following the lives of four women as they experience vastly differing pregnancies. It’s lightly funny, with the focus being on the contrast between the central women and the individual difficulties they all face-both personally and generally-with the idea and the reality that they are, in fact, expecting.
