8. PS I Love You
Based on the notoriously tragic Cecilia Ahern novel of the same name, and starring the King of romantic dramas Gerard Butler, this tragic tale follows a woman (Hilary Swank) attempting to get over the death of her husband through a series of notes he left behind before his death. Okay, so this one really does ooze sentimentality from it’s very being, but that doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to feel your damn feelings if you want to.
