9. Titanic
This movie has become so iconic now that it’s hard to watch without constantly flashing back to the memes and parodies you’ve seen of it-particularly the “paint me like one of your French girls” scene-and you already know how it ends, but that’s not to say Titanic isn’t an effective tearjerker anyway. It’s also a cracking film, with great performances by young Kate Winslet and Leo Dicaprio-hang on, who else thinks that he could have fit on that raft with her at the end? Show of hands? Good, not just me then.
