The only person you’ll have maybe heard of in May is Jeremy Sisto of Suburgatory fame. And the lack of star power is the only conceivable reason I can find for this movie not being a massive hit-a girl-centric take on Frankenstein, compassionate and fascinating performances move this above the basic b-movie concept of a crazy young killer woman. It’s a sad, melancholy film that you’ll find yourself thinking about for days afterwards.
