The obligatory found footage tape to take us home-a strong, intelligent story about a serial killer in Poughkeepsie is leant all the more tension by the discovery of a bunch of his tapes. The unfolding horror really takes it’s time ladling out the tension and the fear, using the medium to it’s advantage-you won’t believe how scary some jiggly handheld camera footage can really be. It doesn’t skimp on the violence, and the low budget never shows through. Hunt it down and kill-I mean, watch it.
