One of the best overlooked horror films of the last few years stars, improbably, Dave Caruso. As workers move in to demolish an old mental hospital, Caruso discovers tape recordings of a young girl’s psychiatric sessions-which become more and more sinister as they go on. A masterclass in tension building, the setting is beautifully desolate and lonely, while the cinematography singles Caruso out as the one who’ll be most affected by the horrifying tapes.
