7. Julia’s Eyes
Following the suicide of her sister, Julia travels home to investigate the death-finding as she does so more mystery than she ever could have intended. Generic so far-until it’s revealed Julia is suffering from a condition that is slowly blinding her. It’s terrifying as we begin to see the world through Julia’s eyes, following every glimpse of movement or creak of floorboard-the whole thing is a superb gimmick for the movie and ramps up the tension to neat-unbearable amounts.
