15. The King and the Duke in The Little Mermaid
Last, and certainly not least, is the cameo appearance of the King and the Duke in The Little Mermaid. The great thing about these Cinderella characters turning up on dry land is that it shows a great shared universe between the two films. It is never specified when each of these films are set but what is clear is that both films take place in magical worlds where anything can happen. Much like Disney itself.
