4. We Bought a Zoo
Cameron Crowe’s return to directing after the awful Elizabethtown is a heart-warming drama (based on a true story) about a family who, you guessed it, bought a zoo. The film stars Matt Damon as the man with this bright idea to change his family’s fortunes but Crowe changed more than that. The man that the film is based on was actually British as is the zoo. His wife actually bought the zoo with him rather than dying beforehand, and the children were a lot older in the film.
