9. It’s A Wonderful Life
I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: I don’t know how a movie about suicide that bombed on it’s original release became the go-to feel-good Christmas movie for thousands of families. That said, Jimmy Stewart has never been more of a charming everyman that in this movie, and the story pulls no punches with the sad bits-making the happy bits seem all that more well-earned. A proper festive classic.
