4. Mean Girls
Sitting in an almost legendary status as far as high school movies go, Mean Girls is a subversive high school comedy with a cast to die for. Lindsay Lohan is the new chick Cady, who finds herself thrown in with the titular Mean Girls-Rachel MacAdams and company. With a script written by comedy legend Tina Fey (who also stars), there’s a lot more going on here than you think at first glance-and a much warmer heart at the centre of this film than you’ll find in most high school movies.
