7. Far and Away
Let’s face it-Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise have never exactly glittered with on-screen chemistry (despite off-screen romance), and this is one of their worst outings ever. Attempting to pull off a part-historical drama, part romance, it’s almost humiliating just watching the two trying to cast sizzling gazes at each other while the soundtrack swells encouragingly. It truly is impossible to conceive how this ever got made in the first place. Or watched. Or mentioned ever again.
