6. Killing Them Softly
I really don’t see anything wrong with movies that feature a lot of talking. In fact, I think a talky movie is one of the hardest things in cinema to get right- and that’s never been proved more comprehensively than in this, a funeral dirge of a film that features Brad Pitt as the fella sent to restore peace to the mob world. There’s a lot of talking that never really goes anywhere-and we all just wanted Brad Pitt to start being pithy and shooting stuff up, anyway. Dull.
