When people heard that James Cameron had been working on Avatar for upwards of fifteen years, we expected-well, we expected the best movie ever, pretty much. And, while the 3D in the cinema was really impressive, the hype had entirely overstated the strength of the movie in other areas-like plot, script and acting, for example. Once you got it home, you soon realised it was just Pocahontas in space and that Sigourney Weaver should be able to find better things to do with her time with a reputation like hers.
