I’ve heard a lot of complaining in my time that black and white movies are rarely actually that funny. Well, stick this in your old-fashioned pipe and smoke it-starring Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon as cross-dressing jazz musicians on the run from the mob, comedy really doesn’t get very much tighter or faster than this. Throw in a gorgeous and lovable Marilyn Monroe in one of her finest roles as a bumbling guitar player, and you’re really onto a win.
