While it’s now considered an absolute, hands-down classic, Ridley Scott’s adaptation of the Philip K. Dick novel ” Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” was a massive flop on its release. Even with the star power of a never-better Harrison Ford at its heart, the movie failed to bring it home, with audiences shunning the intricate sci-fi themes and dystopian setting. Needless to say, it’s worth watching- a brilliant, epoch-making movie that turned science fiction into a serious art form for many directors to come.
