Moving into something a bit more modern, V/H/S represents all that’s good about the modern world of horror filmmaking. It’s an anthology piece made up of three separate vignettes from various directors, taking on sex, violence, aliens and a fascinating, unsolvable over-arching sequence. Even if one part doesn’t work for you, I can guarantee another will-hence why both the original and the sequel are more than worth a look.
